Remember Sharing is caring!

In our previous post, we talked about CPA marketing and you can read it here. In this post, we will talk about how one can drive traffic to his/her CPA offer. Traffic is the backbone of every online business and without it, every online business is useless. Below are the things that you will learn:

  • Definition Of Traffic
  • Types Of Traffic
  • Free Traffic
  • Paid Traffic
  • Traffic Networks
  • Tracking

Traffic simply means the amount of visitors to your site and it is either gotten organically or inorganically. Organic traffic is traffic that is gotten directly from search engines. Let’s say that you input the term Communication in physical Sciences on your web browser

Now, if we click on the first website, then that is what we call organic traffic. Inorganic traffic is one that is not gotten naturally from search engine and they include traffic gotten from social networks or traffic gotten from ad networks.

In CPA marketing, traffic can be divided into two namely:

Free Traffic

Paid Traffic

Free Traffic: This is traffic that you do not have to pay for either it is traffic gotten organically or from social networks. The main point is that you do not have to pay any amount of money before getting the traffic.

Paid Traffic: This involves you paying money in exchange for traffic and a lot of factors determine the amount you will pay for a specific amount of traffic. This is where you hear terms like CPC, CPM and the rest.

Traffic networks are where one buys visitors in exchange for money. generally these traffic networks charge you using any of the two methods listed below:

CPC[Cost Per Click]: This simply means that you will be charged whenever someone clicks on your advertisement. A good example of a CPC network is google ads.

CPM[Cost Per Mile] This simply means that you will be charged for each 1,000 views your ads get and an example is propeller ads.

The following are Traffic networks where one can buy traffic from:
  • Google Ads
  • Propeller Ads
  • Bing Ads
  • Clicksor
  • Uncle Sam Traffic
  • Bidvertiser

In CPA marketing, Tracking is a very important aspect because most of our traffic will be paid traffic so it is necessary to have a tracking software that will monitor the amount of visitors you have, the number of clicks, your conversion rate and other tracking related information. With these information, you will know how to tweak your campaigns or when to stop it. There are a lot of tracking software’s but majority of them are paid.
